Harry Fung

In 2022, I started Movement because I was missing something in the fitness world in Sai Ying Pun. Yes, there were gyms and skilled people were helping people get fit. Nothing wrong with that. But I felt I wanted to take it a step further. I wanted to create a platform where people can learn, explore, and experience better health together. I wanted to correct the misinformation that is too often shared for marketing and publicity purposes. I wanted to create a community of like-minded individuals who can support and learn from each other.

This is how Movement started

I used to work in Finance. I went to the gym regularly and considered myself pretty active but I didn’t feel that healthy. After turning 30, I realised that I had to make some changes if I wanted to get the most out of my life.

After that moment, I truly understood what it means to be healthy. I learned how important proper nutrition is, and I discovered that a good personal trainer is not just someone who tells you what exercises to do but someone who can educate and support you on your health journey.

Through the pandemic and increased social media usage, I became aware of the demand for better health and fitness information and the abundance of misinformation being spread. I knew there had to be a better way to teach and educate people about health and wellness.

That’s why I started Movement

Movement is more than just a gym. It’s a mindset. It’s about progress and taking control of your health and well-being. It’s about creating a bright, welcoming, comfortable, and safe space for people to learn and explore together.

I’m excited to share my passion for health and wellness and help you make positive changes in your life. Join us at Movement, and let’s create a community of progress together.
